The soft and relaxed voice from the ground has a soothing effect on the pilot who completes his tiring journey by making a successful landing. It's a wonder for many how an aircraft reaches its final destination from a departure station, who all are involved in the process of safe flight and landing ? It is understandable if they assume that the pilot is the person who takes care of everything from take off, en route flying and landing. People in general know about the pilot, but much less about those who remain behind the screen and shoulder the responsibility of guiding the flights from the starting an engine at departure aerodrome to its landing at destination.

The three main jobs done in ATC are

1. COMMUNICATION
2. NAVIGATION
3. SURVEILLANCE

All objects are pulled towards the center of the earth.So the ball dropped from the South pole will gain speed and rush towards the center of the earth,when it reaches the center of the earth it gains maximum speed.It cannot stop at the center of the earth because of its speed.It will continue to travel towards North pole.Now its speed gets reduced as it is pulled back towards the of the earth.When its speed becomes zero it will reverse its direction of travel and gain maximum speed when it comes to the center of the earth.Now it will proceed in the direction of South pole and will be oscillating in a straight line.It will be traveling in both directions with the center point as the center of the earth.This explains gravitational pull and don't think there is hole from North to South pole...

Peace can be achieved only by mutual understanding and goodwill. We should realise that the entire world is a big family of nations. Gandhiji all through his life preached Vinoba Bhaves’s slogan which was not Jai Hind but Jai Jagat (Long live the world) the greatest victories of the world are made not by swords but by love for humanity, the guiding principle of the great incarnation like Buddha and Christ. The policy of tit for tat and an eye for an eye should be avoided. Revenge only sets into motion a vicious circle to which there is no end. All dominant countries like US and UK started a war against terrorism. We should make them stop war and take peaceful steps to eradicate terrorism. The entire money spent in wars can be used for constructive purposes.

SAI BABA’S JAMNER MIRACLE

Shridi saibaba’s presence is felt by every one of his devotees. The following incident is an experience by one of his devotee which I happened to read it in a magazine.

One day Baba called me to him and gave me a packet of Udi and a copy of Baba's Arati. I had to go to Khandesh at the time. Baba directed me to go to Jamner and told me to deliver the Arati and Udi to Nanasaheb Chandorkar, at Jamner. I said to Baba that all I had was Rs. 2, and asked Him how that could take me by train from Kopergaon to Jalgaon and next by cart from Jalgaon to Jamner. Baba said,"God will give." That was Friday and I started at once. I reached Manmad at 7-30 p.m. and Jalgaon at 2-45 a.m. At that time plague regulations were enforced and I had much trouble. I was to discover what I should do to get to Jamner. At about 3 a.m. a peon in boots, turban and well equipped with other details of good dress came to me and took me to a tanga and drove me on. I was in terror. On the way at Bhaghoor, I took refreshments. We reached Jamner early in the morning and by the time I attended my call of nature the tanga and its driver had disappeared.
