Riding bicycles that are geared models or fancy ones with electric horns,lights etc are considered fashionable by kids,especially the school students. But we dunno how far they know what its invented for and its history. Bicycles were invented by Kirkpatric Mcmillan. Being a black smith, he had to find out a way of delivering his orders to the customers. A cart was too fussy to use ,and personal delivery of the material was impossible.
