INDIA OF MY DREAMS

I love India and feel very proud of it, the land of my forefathers and ancestors. It is a unique land with a long and glorious history,tradition and civilization. India does not mean only its high mountains, silvery rivers, fertile plains, rich forests, mines, minerals, clear blue skies, seas and oceans. It also means its millions of people, their hopes and aspirations its very old and famous civilizations, cultural unity, patriotism, languages, literature, religions etc. India of my dreams will be really and genuinely free and fearless. Genuine freedom means not only political freedom but also freedom from hunger, poverty, illiteracy, disease, ill health, exploitation and corruption. Without these freedom political freedom loses much of its significance and value.India of my dreams will be very strong, united and mighty nation. I expect India would emerge as a major economic power by 2025. This process of becoming major economic power should be accelerated and expedited to achieve the target by 2005. India of my dreams would be true democratic country without any caste ism, communal ism, corruption and terrorism. Jai Hind !!!

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT JUMBO

Our Indian forests consists of a very large population of elephants. They have very peculiar and interesting facts about them to their credit. Here are few of them:
• Elephants lives for forty years and they breathe ten times a minute
• It has got totally four teeth. Teeth falls and grows six times
• The trunk of them has no bones
• Elephants living in the forest will eat only after taking bath
• Among animals only elephants have the ability to get emotional like us and can stand upside down
• They like human being snores and sleeps
• Female elephants only usually lead their group
• If the mother of a baby elephant dies,another female elephant adopts it and takes care of it.
• The pregnancy period of an elephant is about 645days
• They dont forget those people who had hurted or troubled them and wont leave without taking revenge of them
• Elephants realises when their death nears and hence they go to the interior of the forest,lies down silently and leaves its life!
